A New $1,500 Stimulus From Uncle Sam!

We are happy to report that on June 1, 2009, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) issued its guidance for the 30% consumer tax credit (up to $1500) for the purchase and installation of a 75% efficient biomass-burning stove.

A tax "credit" reduces the tax you pay, dollar-for-dollar, in contrast with a tax deduction which only lowers your taxable income.

How can I benefit from this stimulus?
Does it require a degree in finance in order to file my taxes and claim the tax credit?

Here at Rockford Chimney Supply, in keeping with our "ease of transaction" policy, we have your answers.

Simply, purchase ANY Napoleon wood stove, and leave the rest to us in order for you to get your tax credit. We will provide you with the manufacturer's certificate, which indicates that the product qualifies for the tax credit. It is not required that you submit the certificate or a product sales receipt to the government when filing your taxes.

All that the IRS requires, is that you retain them in your personal tax records. That's it! What's more, any venting product that is used with the installation of that stove, will also qualify for the tax credit.
