Chase covers are used at the top of chimneys to keep out rain, snow, critters, and everything else. It is not recommended you install a galvanized chase cover. Galvanized covers rust fairly quickly and will need to be replaced. Click the picture at left to see a comparison of galvanized vs. a stainless steel chimney chase cover. Rockford Chimney Supply recommends and manufactures custom chase covers made of stainless steel or copper, and they come with a lifetime warranty. We usually ship your chase cover within 24-48 hours of your order.

You will most likely need a Stainless Steel Storm Collar

The storm collar installs above the chase cover collar around the pipe coming through the collar of the chase cover. It keeps moisture from getting between the pipe and the collar on your new chase cover. The storm collar is 100 percent stainless steel and is guaranteed not to rust!
Chase Cover Features and Applications
The standard skirting / flashing is 3" with a drip edge. The Chase covers the entire top of your chimney. Used frequently to cover chimney chase surrounds, it fits over the top of the chimney like a shoe box cover fits the top of a shoe box.
